Direct Connect Statements: Easy Printer Care (EPC) supported Inkjet printers must be connected to your network to be supported by EPC

Easy Printer Care (EPC) supported HP LaserJet printers can be directly connected to the PC running EPC. For proper communication, the printer software for these printers must be installed from the printer CD or from the printing system found on the printer driver download web site prior to connecting the printer to the PC. This is required so that the appropriate HP printer connection software is installed..

NOTE: For Microsoft Windows Vista, the following printers are installed by connecting the printer to the Vista PC prior to running the printer CD and allowing the printer to be installed automatically via Plug and Play (CLJ CM1015/CM1017, LJ P2015, CLJ 2605, CLJ 2700, LJ M2727nf).
