HP Web Jetadmin 10.1 SNMP Proxy Agent
HP Web Jetadmin discovers locally connected (PC connected) devices on intranets using the SNMP proxy agent. Not only does this agent (client PC based) facilitate device discovery, but allows device status, page count, supply levels and other details to be obtained and displayed in HP Web Jetadmin 10.1 device lists.
Migrating data from on system hosting HP Web Jetadmin 7.8 or 8.0 to a different system where HP Web Jetadmin 10.1 is being installed can be done by downloading and using the Migration Tool. This utility collects and bundles a user selected collection of data and software settings from the older application making them ready for the new HP Web Jetadmin 10.1 installation.
HP Web Jetadmin can manage Windows printers on remote PCs or servers. The HP UPD postscript driver is bundled within HP Web Jetadmin and can be installed on remote print servers.
