Extract the transition modules Zip file to Microsoft Windows |

To extract the transition modules under Microsoft Windows:
1. You must use a Zip software utility. HP recommends using the WinZip utility for Microsoft Windows.
2. Create a transition modules directory to serve as the extraction destination.
3. Open the Zip file with the Zip software utility and begin a file extraction operation.
- a. Specify the extraction destination directory.
- b. Specify that the file folder hierarchy is to be preserved. (In WinZip, this is done by selecting "Use folder names".)
- c. Extract all files in the Zip file.

To extract the transition modules under HP-UX:
- You must use a Zip software utility. HP recommends using the UnZip utility for HP-UX. Note: You can obtain the latest HP-UX version of UnZip from http://www.info-zip.org/.
- Create a transition modules directory to serve as the extraction destination: # mkdir Transition_Modules
- Go to the created directory and copy the Zip file there: # cd Transition_Modules
# cp /path/hpux_9000_integrity_tm.zip . where path is the location of the downloaded Zip file.
- Invoke the UnZip utility to extract all files in the Zip file to the current directory. # unzip hpux_9000_integrity_tm.zip

Get started browsing the transition modules web tree |

Once the files are extracted, you can begin browsing the HP-UX 11i: HP 9000 to HP Integrity transition modules self-contained web tree:
- Go to the extraction destination directory and locate the file index.html.
- To begin navigating the transition modules, open index.html with a web browser.
The following notes pertain to browsing the transition modules: - A network link, capable of reaching the HP corporate web site (hp.com), is required to access some of the supporting web resources referenced in the transition module web pages.
- To view the transition module release notes and revision histories, follow the "Release notes & revision history" links provided throughout the web tree.
- Each module provides a survey in the "Feedback" section. Your survey response is anonymous to ensure your confidentiality. This survey will be used only to evaluate and enhance the effectiveness of the module.
