HP-UX 11i v2 for HP 9000 and Integrity ServersHP-UX 11i v2, available now for Integrity and HP 9000 systems, delivers a common release across platforms, providing exceptional performance, scalability, integrated leadership virtualization - all in a common release. HP-UX 11i v2 delivers 128-way processor support for both platforms, and a 15-25% performance improvement. Customers who want to run a common release will upgrade their HP 9000 systems to HP-UX 11i v2 and their HP Integrity systems to HP-UX 11i v2 with the HP-UX 11i v2 update 2. HP-UX 11i provides binary compatibility version to version for those staying on the same hardware architecture. HP-UX 11i v2 is source- and development environment-compatible with HP-UX 11i v1. |
