HP-UX 11i v2 for HP 9000 and Integrity Servers

Dynamic Root Disk (DRD) is available now for HP-UX 11i v2 on HP Integrity and HP 9000 systems. DRD allows customers the ability to patch their HP-UX 11i v2 systems online and quickly re-boot during off hours to affect the changes. DRD can also be used for HP-UX 11i system recovery as well. DRD supports LVM root volumes; a future update will provide support for VxVM root volumes. The initial release of this software will be included in the 0706 Application Release (AR) media.

September 2004 was the date of the first integrated release of HP-UX 11i version 2 for both HP 9000 and Integrity servers.
