HP Serviceguard Manager is a graphical user interface (GUI) that provides configuration, administration, and monitoring capabilities for Serviceguard, Serviceguard Extension for RAC, Metrocluster, and Continentalclusters.
Using Serviceguard Manager, operators see color-coded icons that provide a big-picture view of multiple clusters. From this big-picture view, operators can drill down and proactively manage clusters, systems (nodes), and packages that run applications.
As you can see below, Serviceguard Manager uses color-coded icons to visually display real-time status and configuration information for multiple clusters, member nodes, and packages. Serviceguard Manager can run standalone or integrated with HP OpenView software and/or HP Systems Insight Manager.

Serviceguard Manager greatly reduces operator training, optimizes efficiency, and improves productivity. By automating many manual processes, cluster configuration, monitoring, administration, and troubleshooting are all simplified. The potential for human error is also reduced since Serviceguard Manager maintains consistency of configuration files on all cluster nodes and provides helpful tooltips and wizards to automate and guide through even a novice user everything they need to do to set-up and maintain even the most complex environment.
